About

Tvashta Labs takes its name from Tvaṣṭṛ, the Vedic artificer who gives things their form.

We are a lab in Varanasi built on a simple belief, that what can be imagined should be possible to make.

We do three things.

We make. Products, services, experiences. Tangible and intangible alike. If it can be imagined, it can be made.

We preserve. Scanning turns temples, monuments and artifacts into accurate digital models and printed replicas, a screenshot of reality no photograph can give. We also work with institutions to protect built heritage.

We teach. Workshops, long term experiential learning programmes, apprenticeships and internships for people who want to learn to make with their own hands.
